At NI, we believe textiles are a powerful language, each thread whispering tales of culture, tradition, and individual artistry. This vision, born from a personal journey and now strengthened by a dynamic collaboration, is dedicated to bringing you exquisite textiles, each piece a fragment of a rich cultural narrative, crafted by artisans with generations of skill.

For me, as a Peruvian descendant of Andean migrants, raised in Lima and now living in Switzerland since 1997, the vibrant textile traditions of my heritage have always held a profound significance. My design education at the Zurich University of the Arts (2004-2008) ignited an early passion for sustainable, artisanal product design. The seeds of NI were sown during my Master's in Design program (2019-2020), driven by a desire to truly acknowledge the master weavers and textile creatives as the artists they are.

Joining me in this endeavour since 2025 is Patrick Bucher, an experienced Creative Director who shares our deep appreciation for compelling narratives. Together, we are committed to amplifying the unique stories woven into each NI piece, connecting you to the remarkable skills and cultural heritage of our global collaborators.
